A Special Honor for The George Ranch Ahead of This Friday’s Fort Bend County Fair Parade!

The George Ranch has been named grand marshal of the 2026 Fort Bend County Fair Parade. Richmond Mayor Becky Haas recently presented the proclamation to Adrienne Barker and Roger Adamson of The George Ranch.

The parade begins at 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 25, at the Historic Fort Bend County Courthouse in Richmond. The route runs west along Highway 90A to Rosenberg, with The George Ranch leading nearly 200 parade entries.

This year’s theme is “90 Years Strong: Honoring the Past. Growing the Future,” highlighting Fort Bend County’s history, agriculture and community spirit.
